Letter from Peru: 2025 Year in Review from Amazon Promise

Dear Friends of Amazon Promise,

As we step into a new year of promise and purpose, we are inspired to continue delivering vital medical relief services, health education, and clean water and sanitation systems that will improve life for the people of the Peruvian Amazon. Your unwavering support and generosity continue to make the difference for people and communities in need.

Before diving into our 2025 year in review, I want to share some exciting news!

In January, we’ll be teaming up with our esteemed partner organization, Global First Responder, to reconstruct a community center in the village of Bello Horizonte located on the Maranon River. Once this is finished, our partners from the Kansas City professional chapter of Engineers Without Borders will arrive to install a potable rainwater catchment system that will be connected to this new building. It’s an exciting collaboration that showcases the power of partnership and community spirit, and we couldn’t be more proud to play a role in bringing these two incredible organizations together for such a meaningful cause.

Please read our 2025 year in review below accompanied by beautiful and inspiring photos that also tell the story.

Every day we are witnessing firsthand how access to basic healthcare, clean water and sanitation empowers individuals and transforms entire communities, fostering a sense of self-sufficiency and independence.

Together, we continue not only addressing immediate needs; we’re laying the groundwork for sustainable development and improved quality of life.

Thank you for your support.

Together we make the difference!

Amazon Promise Year in Review 2025
