Afya Foundation
Afya Foundation collects surplus and out-of-date medical supplies and equipment from U.S. healthcare centers and ships them to underserved communities worldwide. Since 2007, they have sent $49.5 million worth of lifesaving medical and humanitarian supplies to partners in 87 countries, helping millions access healthcare while diverting over 16 million pounds of waste from landfills. The organization provides emergency disaster relief, supports community health centers, and offers rehabilitation equipment and training.

The Carter Center
The Carter Center leads global disease eradication and elimination programs, most notably the Guinea worm eradication campaign. Since 1986, they have reduced Guinea worm disease cases by more than 99.99%, from 3.5 million cases to just 15 in 2024, and have assisted in distributing over 1 billion doses of medicine to prevent neglected tropical diseases.
