Aboard the Flying Eye Hospital: UC Davis Doctors Volunteer Skills to Save Sight

UC Davis ophthalmologists recently volunteered aboard Orbis International’s Flying Eye Hospital, bringing sight-saving surgeries and training to underserved communities in Zambia. By teaching complex techniques to local doctors, they empower specialists to treat preventable blindness long after their two-week mission ends.
